"Na Kika is the octopus-god of the Gilbert Islands (Kiribati). His many arms served him well when he shoved up the earth from the bottom of the sea to form the islands, the beaches and the rocks. He is the son of Na Atibu and Nei Teuke, the first beings."
Many deep purple-blue octopus tentacles surge in, around and on top of each other protecting an opalite colored stone. Some of these tentacles are focused on protecting the hidden treasure, some are tasked to sink ships and drown any who intrude on their space.
This necklace is made from polymer clay, an opalite colored focal bead, an opalite glass bead, silver pear ex accent powsers and gobs of chain. The predominate color is gunmetal with some bright silver mixed in. The chain measures 18" and has a perfect Aegean, sea-like feel.
